Location: Devizes, Wiltshire

Hours: 09:30 – 14:30 (with the opportunity to increase to full time as the role and company progresses)

Days: Monday- Friday

Salary: £12.00 per hour

As a Buildings Coordinator with APT Group Services Ltd you will join our skilled team enjoying a varied and exciting workload.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Administrative Experience
  • Ideally Construction Experience
  • Good organisation skills
  • You must be comfortable working under pressure

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Day to day coordination of a busy construction Team for ongoing contracts with the Building Industry.
  • Organising construction equipment and logistics required for each job.

 

Administrative Duties to include:

  • Booking in of jobs
  • Use of our in-house system, Simpro
  • Approval of engineer’s job cards
  • Invoicing
  • Answering the telephone
  • Liaising directly with contract contacts, engineers, and the Managing Director.

Senior Electrical Contracts Manager

Location: Devizes, Wiltshire

Salary: up to £50,000 DOE + discretionary bonus based on KPI & company performance

As a Senior Contracts Manager with APT Group Services Ltd you will join our skilled team enjoying a varied and exciting workload.

We have a strong focus on exceptional customer service, we invest heavily in the development of our engineers and Management Team. We have large contracts within the EV car charger installation market and our potential Senior Contracts Manager will enjoy a varied and exciting workload from large scale projects to the smaller domestic jobs.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Electrical Contracts Manager working within the M&E Services to industry sector
  • Ability to manage site staff and Sub-contractors
  • Confidently undertake financial responsibility for P + L for Electrical Contracts
  • Possess excellent communication, client facing skills, good level of IT skills, operational, technical, and managerial skills within a fast-paced environment. Build strong relationships with existing and future clients and secure future projects
  • Relevant professional qualifications in Electrical Installation, Testing, and design
  • NICEIC qualification & Qualified 18th Edition electrical wiring regulations
  • Good understanding of building services & working knowledge of procurement legislation and procurement methodology.
  • Contract management experience to manage and deliver contract targets

Responsibilities

  • Manage Electrical contracts, projects and works, managing budgets and progress to ensure completion on time and within budget. Monitor/budget profit levels
  • Review and management of sub-contractors/suppliers and process invoices
  • Build strong relationships with existing and future clients and secure future projects
  • Ensuring KPI’s are achieved and adhered to & regularly review and appraise the performance of staff, providing coaching or training solutions as required
  • Preparation of monthly applications for payment and costing of variations.
  • Accurate and timely production of management reports.
